Wellington Arch

The monument was constructed between 1826 and 1830, designed by Decimus Burton, and showcases both Georgian and neoclassical architectural styles. Originally built as an entrance to Buckingham Palace, it commemorates the Duke of Wellington's victory over Napoleon and Britain's successes in the Napoleonic Wars. The arch is topped by a large bronze quadriga statue, adding to its significance as a victory monument.

An observation deck provides panoramic views of central London, making the structure a notable historic landmark and vantage point. Exhibitions within the arch detail its historical importance and architectural features. The site is managed as a national monument and is open for public visits.
