Starobrno Brewery

The Starobrno Brewery is a historic industrial site with brewing traditions tracing back to 1325. Currently part of the Heineken N.V. group, the facility produces several brands of unpasteurised beer, including Staré Brno, Starobrno Medium, Starobrno Drak, and Starobrno Unfiltered, as well as a range of craft series beers. The brewing process utilizes traditional Czech hops to create well-balanced Moravian lagers. Modernization and expansion have transformed the brewery into a major production hub that remains a significant part of the industrial heritage of the region. Excursions are available to learn about the brewing process, and beer is available for consumption directly at the site.

The onsite restaurant, Pivovarská Starobrno, features a menu centered on traditional Czech cuisine and international dishes such as burgers and steaks. Notable culinary offerings include unique beer-infused meals like beeramisu. The establishment serves the brewery's full range of beers and provides a setting for dining within the brewery grounds. The location is frequently utilized as a concluding point for city excursions.
