The Aquarium of Constanța operates within the Complexul Muzeal de Științe ale Naturii, which also includes a dolphinarium, planetarium, micro reserve, and exotic bird sections. The institution offers daily demonstrations with dolphins and various educational exhibitions focused on nature and marine life. Located in Constanța, the complex has a long-standing tradition of more than five decades in educating the public about natural sciences. The aquarium itself is currently temporarily closed, while other sections such as the dolphinarium and micro reserve remain accessible with scheduled demonstrations and guided tours.
