Taling Chan Floating Market

Opened in 1987, this floating market offers a unique opportunity to glimpse into the daily lives of the locals, as well as to experience the atmosphere of the land.

Browse through the fresh food on sale in the floating shops, taste meat on a stick or a cooked prawn and listen to the musicians play traditional Thai tunes as you do so.

The market is probably easiest to reach by taxi. You can also take a bus number 79 from the Ratchadamri Road from the Central World stop.

Although still relatively untouched by tourism, the market has become more popular in the recent years. Be careful, as this leads to an increase in the number of scammers, trying to rip off the visitors.
