Needle, Thread and Knot

This sculpture was created by the artists Claes Oldenburg and Coosje van Bruggen and consists of two parts representing a giant needle threaded with colorful yarn tied in a knot. It stands as a symbol of Milan's industrious spirit and its metropolitan transit lines, located in an open public space.
