This place is known as the infamous site of a mass suicide of 960 people who, during First Jewish–Roman War, decided to commit suicide rather than to surrender to the Romans. This fortification offers not only insights into its dark and rich history but also breathtaking views of the surrounding area - sunsets are especially spectacular.
You can visit the visitor center and a museum that will inform you about the history of this fort. Twice a week, you can also witness a majestic light and sound show here.
