Haarlemmerplein Square

This square situated in the city centre of Amsterdam is worth the visit every day, but especially every Wednesday when there is an organic farmers’ market. Stop by for some fresh groceries or some delicious snacks on your way to other sights.

In the middle of the square, there is a lovely fountain. It's favoured by children, especially in summer.

You are probably going to visit this square even if you don't plan on doing so, because of its proximity to other attractions (e.g. the West Park or the Northern Market), restaurants and pubs.
