The museum is housed within the Episcopal Palace and preserves over 200 religious artefacts that trace a path through the religious history of the island.
The contents have been collected from monasteries, convents and churches and there are some spectacular paintings amongst the works. Also, there is a collection of some of the finest fourteenth to eighteenth century pottery on the island. Two of the finest and rarest panel paintings depicting the life of Saint Paul and the story of Christ also reside here.
