This palace, created in 1424, is an example of Venetian Gothic architecture designed by Bartolomeo Bon, Giovanni Bono, and Matteo Raverti. Its façade is noted for its gilded decoration, reflecting its name meaning "House of Gold." The building functions as an art museum and gallery showcasing the collection of baron Giorgio Franchetti, including paintings, sculptures, and decorative arts. The collection spans from Gothic to Baroque periods, offering insight into Venetian artistic and architectural heritage. The palace is located on the Grand Canal and has been open as a museum since 1954.
