Buntu Pune

Located 3 kilometers south of Rantepao lies a complex of traditional Tongkongan called Buntu Pune, complete with seven lumbung (granaries) and an open ceremonial ground (Rante Karassik). In addition to these, Tongkonan has a cliff burial site, several Patane (mausoleums), and stairs leading to a peak that allows visitors panoramic views of Rantepao and the surrounding landscape of Toraja Utara.
