Dating back to the 14th century, this charming square is surrounded by important and well-preserved buildings that were once part of the Palau Reial Major, the official royal residence in Barcelona.
Admire the royal residence and the adjoining watchtower of King Martin, the royal Chapel of Santa Àgata and the Lieutenant's Palace. In the corner of the square, there is a statue called Topos V. Created by Eduardo Chillida. It pays tribute to the medieval city.
