The National Gallery features over 2,300 paintings spanning from the Middle Ages to the 19th century, including masterpieces by artists such as Leonardo da Vinci, Van Gogh, Monet, Rembrandt, Titian, and Vermeer. The building itself is notable for its Greek Revival and Neoclassical architectural styles, designed by William Wilkins in a Georgian architectural tradition. Located in Trafalgar Square, the museum is designated as a National Monument and provides educational programs alongside its permanent collection and special exhibitions.
