When you visit this observation deck, located on the 88th floor of the Eureka Tower, you are 285 meters high, looking down from the highest public vantage point in a building in the Southern Hemisphere. If you visit it on a sunny day, you will be able to see the whole city, but also to glimpse the ocean and the mountains in the distance.
The Skydeck, situated at the top of the Eureka tower, opened in 2006. Notice the gold-plated windows on the top 10 floors. Every year a Eureka Climb Event is being held here. During it, people from all over the world come to climb to the observatory deck.
The Skydeck 88 observatory holds one more surprise. For an additional fee, visitors can enter The Edge - a glass cube, that slides as far as 3 meters out of the building.
