Clérigos Church

The church is an emblematic example of Baroque architecture designed by Nicolau Nasoni and dates back to the 18th century, with its inception in 1732 and official opening in 1779. Its most prominent feature is the Torre dos Clérigos, a 75-meter-high bell tower that can be climbed via 225 steps to access panoramic views of the city. The complex includes a museum with collections connected to the Clérigos Brotherhood, emphasizing its cultural and religious significance.
