Hospital in the Rock

The museum is located in a historic underground hospital and nuclear bunker beneath the Buda Castle district. It showcases military history, wartime medical treatment, and Cold War civil defense through preserved equipment, waxwork reconstructions, and exhibits. Functioning also as a war memorial, the site provides insight into Hungary's military defenses and the historical use of the bunker during times of conflict and nuclear threat. The museum is wheelchair accessible and open to the public.
