The site features two large reflective memorial pools set in the footprints of the original Twin Towers, serving as a tribute to those who lost their lives in the September 11 attacks and the 1993 World Trade Center bombing. The underground museum includes extensive exhibits and artifacts that recount the events of these attacks and honor the resilience of the victims. Designed by Michael Arad, Handel Architects, Davis Brody Bond, and Snøhetta, the complex combines contemporary architecture with a solemn atmosphere to preserve the memory of these historic events. The museum is open to the public and accessible to wheelchair users.
