San Telmo Palace

The palace was originally constructed in 1682 and designed by Leonardo de Figueroa, exhibiting notable baroque architecture with distinctive Ionic columns and an impressive façade. It has historically served various roles including a seminary, a residence for nobility, and a college for mariners before becoming the seat of the Andalusian Autonomous Government. The building features artistic elements such as an ornate chapel, interior courtyards, and a sculpture gallery representing important figures from the region's history. Surrounding the palace are formal gardens and a park that complement its architectural grandeur. Designated a National Monument, the palace remains a significant cultural, political, and historical landmark.
