De La Fratta Castle is a historic tower constructed in 1253 on Monte Titano on the foundations of an ancient Roman fortress. It is one of the three iconic towers in the area and played a key defensive role in the medieval period. The castle houses the Museum of Ancient Arms, established in 1956, which contains over 1,550 medieval and modern firearms. Its distinctive medieval architecture and strategic position contribute to its significance as a symbol of the region's heritage. The site is accessible and integrated into scenic walking routes around the mountain.
