The gardens date back to 1661 and are situated on elevated ground overlooking the Grand Harbour and the three cities. The site contains several monuments and memorials, as well as a replica of a famous statue, reflecting its historical and cultural significance. A historic saluting battery operates daily cannon firings, adding to the cultural interest of the location. The gardens are open to the public and are wheelchair accessible, combining natural beauty with historical features and panoramic harbor views.
