The museum is dedicated to the life and work of Enzo Ferrari, founder of the Ferrari automobile company. It exhibits a wide range of notable Ferrari automobiles, including vintage cars, Formula One race cars, and recent sports models, illustrating Ferrari's technological and racing heritage. Multimedia presentations complement the displays, providing an immersive experience into the history of Ferrari.
The building was designed by architect Jan Kaplický and covers an area of 3,500 square meters. It combines a historic house museum element, being located in Enzo Ferrari's birthplace, with a modern industry museum showcasing automotive innovation. The museum is wheelchair accessible and equipped with air conditioning.
The exhibitions highlight Ferrari's origins, engineering achievements, and racing successes, making it a specialized transport and technology museum. It opened in 2012 and is part of the Ferrari museum network, focusing on automotive history and Italian industrial excellence.
